Just in time for Thanksgiving, a group of kids is giving back.

A local 4-H group delivered handmade fleece blankets to HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital. The blankets were donated Wednesday to help patients diagnosed with cancer stay warm and comfortable during their treatment at the hospital.

"I think it's really fun to just like get along with the club members because you can talk while you do it and then even when you donate them you can learn about the people that you donate them to,” said Grace Richardson, 9th grader.

If you're interested in donating to the 4-H club, the group is having its big cookie walk fundraiser coming up Dec. 2 at the Cleghorn Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
