EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Area construction companies learned more about the Foxconn project Thursday.

The second informational session took place this afternoon at CVTC in Eau Claire.

The Bilbane Building Company says they talked with construction-related companies about becoming a vendor, subcontractor, supplier, or professional service provider for the $10 billion manufacturing campus in Racine County.

“Directly match and connect with the prime-contractors on the job and so the energy remains great, the project remains on track and we're excited to continually announce the next round of details and we'll continue to do this so this is round two,” said Adam Jelen, senior vice president, Gilbrane Building Company.

Earlier this month, Foxconn purchased two downtown Eau Claire properties. The company says the goal is to create a technology hub which is expected to create 150 jobs.
