EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Easter is just one day away and a little rain didn't stop hundreds from heading outside for several egg hunts around the area.
Carson Park was host to the 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.
Nearly 2,000 people of all ages came out to the hunt.
Each year the Boy Scouts of America along with community partners organize the event.
“It’s a wonderful collaboration of community organizations coming together to say how can we volunteer make a great impact in our community. It’s a holiday. It’s a wonderful activity and it brought out groups we don’t see all the time collaborating and it’s been wonderful,” said organizer Hannah Walsh.
