Chippewa Falls City Council approves adding more tiny homes

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- A plan to build more tiny homes to provide shelter for the homeless population in one local community is moving forward.

Tuesday night, the Chippewa Falls City Council voted six to zero to approve adding tiny homes at Notre Dame Catholic Church.

The tiny homes project in Chippewa Falls started in 2016.

They're available for people experiencing tough times and need help getting back on their feet.
