Chippewa Falls man goes from dealing dope to spreading hope

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- A Chippewa Falls man who says he went from dealing dope to spreading hope shared his message with area students Tuesday, December 4.

Brian Cole says after living a life of darkness for 33 years, he was rescued and redeemed.

Tuesday, he shared his story with Chi-Hi students focusing on bullying, drugs, alcohol, and suicide.

Cole spoke to students about the choices they make and how it affects their lives -- in the hopes they won't make the same mistakes he did.

The speaking event also featured live music by TRU-SERVA, a rap/hip hop artist from the Twin Cities.
