Chippewa Falls school district opens general contractor bids for referendum projects

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District has opened general contract bids for their $65 million dollar referendum project.

Bids were opened Tuesday at 2 p.m. and four contractors submitted bids: Howard Immel Construction, RJ Jurowski Construction, Market & Johnson and Miron Construction.

The referendum passed in 2017 for funding for a new Stillson Elementary School, a remodel for Chippewa Falls Middle School and an upgrade mechanics at Chippewa Falls Senior High School.

The school district will hold a meeting to discuss options at a meeting on March 26.
