"Chippewa Valley Votes" hosts voter registration today

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Voting day is April 3rd and a local non-partisan group is holding "Voter Registration Day" today.

Volunteers from "Chippewa Valley Votes" will be working at six locations across the area. They are ready to work with anyone who needs help registering to vote or getting a voter photo ID. Volunteers will be at both the Chippewa Falls Public Library and the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire between noon and 7:00 p.m.

The Colfax Public Library will have volunteers available from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. People in Menomonie can get help registering at the Menomonie Market Food Co-Op from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. University students can register at Davies Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. Organizers say people should bring a proof of residency document if they wish to register.
