MONDOVI, Wis. (WEAU)--Multiple fire departments are responding to the scene of a barn fire in Mondovi.

The fire on Gonty Road, just south of Highway 10 broke out shortly before 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Our reporter on the scene says heavy smoke is visible from at least one of the buildings on location. Roads leading up the scene are currently blocked off as firefighters attempt to get to the area. Crews were also assisting Eleva firefighters, after one of their trucks spun out into a ditch. Icy conditions are making the scene very dangerous.
