UPDATE: Crews respond to fire near Mondovi

MONDOVI, Wis. (WEAU) -- No people or animals were hurt after a barn fire broke out near Mondovi Tuesday morning.

According to the Mondovi Fire Chief, the fire happened in a pole shed with an attached barn around 10:45 a.m. The barn was filled with hay bales. The chief says they were on scene for about 4 hours.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
