CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- No charges will be filed against a driver involved in a car crash that killed a Bloomer teacher.

Chippewa County District Attorney said Chad Sommer was found incompetent on Tuesday. Gibbs said Sommer had a genetic disorder and did not have a driver's license.

Derek Thompson, 32, died in a two-vehicle crash in April on State Highway 64 northeast of Bloomer. Thompson was a father of two and had been working the Bloomer School District for four years.
