Sheriff Dennis Smith said on October 11, a house caught fire in the Township of Rock Creek, displacing the family.

The sheriff said on November 2 a family member went to the house and saw two males with a vehicle behind the home.

When family members asked the men what they were doing they said, "Looting the house." They left with a garbage can full of items.

Sheriff Smith said one item believed to be taken is an autographed, red #45 Michael Jordan jersey signed for their young daughter through the Make A Wish Foundation.
