UPDATE: Dogs from Eau Claire bite incident found

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (RELEASE) -- The dogs from this incident have been located.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (RELEASE) -- The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is looking for two dogs that bit a woman, Friday, March 8, 2019, at approximately 1:30 p.m. The bite occurred on Lever Street sidewalk, halfway between Brian and McElroy streets.

The first dog was described as a larger dark yellow lab/retriever type. The second dog was smaller, and black and white in color. Both dogs were on leashes. Two women were walking the dogs.

The health and rabies status of these dogs needs to be determined. If anyone has information about these animals they should contact the Eau Claire Communications Center at 715-839-4972.
