EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Eau Claire Police pulled over this vehicle late Monday night.
In a post to the department’s Facebook page, an officer stopped this snow-covered SUV.
The traffic stop happened on Fairfax Street, north of Clairemont in Eau Claire. Eau Claire Police tell us the officer had to pull his squad in front of the vehicle because of the lack of visibility the driver had.
The man driving did not get cited, but the officer made him clear his vehicle off before leaving. Police say he was driving a few driveways down, from one parking lot to the next. Police tell WEAU 13 News, citations can and are regularly issued for things like this. These citations cost $175.30
Police are asking people to please remember to clear off vehicles before driving for everyone’s safety.
