EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- After rebuilding from a fire in 2016, one local church is celebrating its new building.
Thursday, September 13, Plymouth United Church of Christ in Eau Claire held a ribbon cutting.
Plymouth UCC's previous building on Moholt Drive burned down after a lightning strike on September 22, 2016.
The church held its first worship service in August.
"It's really great, the first Sunday we were in there was so much joy and so much excitement. Just to be back felt so good," said Rev. David Huber.
The church will hold a dedication service of the new building on Sunday, September 23.
