EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Feed My People Food Bank is offering additional help for those struggling to keep up this winter, with the return of pop-up food pantries.
Groceries and produce were available inside Banbury Building number-two on Wisconsin Street.
After the tough winter and government shutdown, Feed My People Food Bank said they wanted to get more food to the community. This includes students who rely on school meals, but haven't been getting them with all the snow days. The pop-up pantry is not regular and only pops-up when there's extra funding and the extra need.
"We have a lot of wonderful food pantries and programs in our town, so we just try to fill that extra gap when there's a situation like there's been with the weather,” said Suzanne Becker with Feed My People.
