Eau Claire preschoolers treat construction workers to act of kindness

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Summer construction is in full swing and area kids shared an adorable act of kindness to show their appreciation

Wednesday, kids from the Regis Child Development Center served lemonade and cookies to construction workers.

For a few weeks, work has been underway across from their building on Fenwick Avenue.

The administrator for the center says it was exciting for the kids to meet the workers.

"When big things happen right in front of your building, you really want to try and embrace it. The children love watching the big trucks and all the activity,” said Gayle Flaig, administrator.

The workers loved it too, getting a chance to beat the heat!
