Eau Claire schools ask for help to win grant for 'Math Minds Club'

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Eau Claire schools are asking for help to win $10,000 grant.

The Eau Claire Public School Foundation and Sylvan Learning of Eau Claire have been selected to compete for a $10,000 KIND Foundation Grant.

The money will go to benefit local Eau Claire Area School District students by covering the costs to provide a Math Minds Club twice a week for up to 24 weeks during the upcoming school year.

The club will specifically be designed for the hundreds of homeless kids in ECASD primary schools.

The voting runs from September 10-30th.
