He defeated Kristen Amundson Husby by a vote of 427 to 338.

The next Eleva-Strum School Board meeting is scheduled for December 13.

STRUM, Wis. (WEAU) -- A recall election is underway at the Eleva-Strum School District.

Two candidates, Kristen Amundson and Joshua Stendahl, are on the ballot for school board. They are looking to replace school board member, Lois Havenor, who resigned after being the center of a recall petition.

The petition claimed Havenor had been abusing her power, acting without the board's consent and intimidating employees.

Havenor stepped down from her position at the end of September.
