Firearm found while mowing in Trempealeau County


SUMNER, Wis. (WEAU)— The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office says a firearm was located by a highway worker. The worker was mowing along County Road B in the town of Sumner.

The sheriff’s office says the firearm was turned in Tuesday and is being held at their office for safekeeping. They ask if anyone is missing a firearm, to call the department and positively identify the gun.
