The former Menomonie School Board President has been charged with prostitution.

According to charges filed Thursday, Jay Fahl, and another man, were charged after police say they responded to an ad online police placed, posing as a prostitute.

As we first told you last month, five men in total were arrested for prostitution at various locations around Eau Claire. Police say Fahl was arrested after he offered to pay $80 for sex with a prostitute. Officers arranged a meeting place on Fairfax Street, where Fahl was arrested. So far, the three other men have not been charged.

We spoke with the Menomonie School District who says Fahl has resigned and the district has posted the vacancy. The school board will meet on Feb. 12 to review applications.
