TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Governor Tony Evers plans to be in Trempealeau County Monday to tour areas impacted by recent flooding.

Sunday, the Governor's Office announced Evers will meet with City of Arcadia officials on flooding concerns and will tour flood damage in the towns of Dodge and Centerville.

The State Emergency Operations Center says about 12 homes were evacuated in Dodge and an ice jam caused flooding on the Trempealeau River.

Earlier this month, Governor Evers declared a state of emergency for much of the state as heavy rain and melting snow flooded roads, fields, and communities.
