EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The host farm family for Eau Claire County Farm Technology Days was formally introduced Tuesday.

Huntsinger Farms, of Eau Claire, will host Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in July of 2020.

The farm, and its subsidiary Silver Spring Foods, was founded by Ellis Huntsinger in 1929 and the farm is still family owned.

Bob Roemer, of Silver Spring Foods, says about 300 acres of land will be used for the event.

"The farm location on Mitchell Road will be transformed into tent city; that property has about 200 acres and 100 acres is just for the tents and exhibits and 100 for parking and demonstrations,” said Roemer.

It is expected that 45,000 to 50,000 people could attend the three-day event July 21 through the 23 2020.
