Juvenile in custody after reportedly threatening school violence

ADAMS COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- A juvenile is taken into custody after reportedly making a threat of violence against an area school district on social media.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office and Adams Police Department responded to Adams-Friendship Schools Tuesday as the schools were placed on an administrative hold.

A short time later, deputies say the responsible juvenile was identified and taken into custody and placed in secure detention.

The juvenile could faces charges of disorderly conduct, making terroristic threats, and unlawful use of a computer.
