CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- A local brewery is getting ready to "raise a glass" to a major milestone.

Leinenkugel's 150th Anniversary Celebration is set to take place next Friday, August 11th and Saturday, August 12th at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls.

The president of Leinenkugel's said it's going to be a great opportunity for people to try some new and old beers, including their special anniversary lager.

Organizers are expecting at least 10,000 people from across the country.

"We have a lot of distributors, customers coming in, but just fans of Leinie's, people that love our summer shandy beer and other beers so they're be coming in and they want to join in on the festivities," said Leinenkugel Brewing Company President Dick Leinenkugel.

Leinenkugel said former Packers great Donald Driver will be making an appearance on Saturday along with musical acts during the two-day event.
