Lemonade stand fundraiser raises money for service dog

CADOTT, Wis. (WEAU)-- Friday brought sunshine and summer heat, a perfect day for selling lemonade. In Cadott, two friends put up a lemonade and cookie stand to help raise money for a service dog.

Tali Donahue helped out her friend Ava Eiler who's brother has autism. The proceeds from the fundraiser will help get a service dog for Ava's brother.

Tali says, "Ava's little brother Brayden, he has autism and they're getting him a service dog and to keep him safe and it costs a lot of money so I wanted to help raise money for them."

Adds Ava, "We really want people to be aware of autism so they'll be able to help other people get the service dogs."

By Friday afternoon, the girls had raised $750. The girls say they're planning on doing more bake sales.
