Lieutenant Governor candidate stops by Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Mandela Barnes stopped by WEAU Thursday to talk to us about his goals if elected, including what he calls our broken health care system.

"We're the tenth most moved from state in the county, but we have to reverse that trend if we ever want to move forward. The campaign that we've built is around the essentials of opportunity, just basic principles that people no matter what part of the state can agree with and things that we all need to see and that's equity and health care. There's no reason we should be paying twice as much as our neighbor’s right to the west in Minnesota, for health insurance,” said Barnes.
