EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Eleven-year-old Clover Bauer is showing the world that Down syndrome hasn't stopped her from enjoying her heart's passion - dancing.

“Like every other child out there, you're not going to find a child with Down syndrome that is any different than another kiddo,” said Brooke Bauer, Clover’s mother.

Bauer said clover started dancing at an early age.

She says the teachers at Diamond Dance Studio are all fun and energetic, where Clover does lyrical dance.

"They love to let all the kids here be really expressive and that's really what she needs," said Bauer.

Bauer said her daughter is a typical child.

“I like to use the word typical, not normal,” said Bauer. “There's nothing normal about any of us. We're all very different with our own personalities.”

Bauer said she wouldn't change her journey with clover for the world.
Clover said she loves dancing because it makes her happy.

“Life is pretty awesome with Clover,” said Bauer. “Its an experience, every day Is an experience.”
