Man arrested for 16th OWI in Eau Claire

A man was arrested for his 16th OWI and police say he almost drove his car into an Eau Claire home.

The Eau Claire Police Department says they got a report Friday night of a verbal argument at a home in the 2200 block of Roy Street.

Police say the argument began after 63-year-old Bradley Armstrong arrived at the home, where he parked in the grass and almost hit the house.

Police say at one point Armstrong also passed out in the driver's seat. During the argument, police say Armstrong pulled out of the driveway and into a neighboring driveway. He left the home before police got there, but was found hiding behind an air-conditioning unit.
