On Thursday, Phillip Chism, 39, pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. He will have to serve 60 days in jail, then spend 30 months on probation.

A felony charge of third-degree sexual assault and four felony counts of bail jumping were dismissed.

Chism had been accused of inappropriately touching a woman without her consent. Investigators say he threatened to kill her and anyone that she is associated with.
