Man killed in Chetek construction accident

A worker was killed in a construction accident in Chetek.
It happened Thursday morning as crews from Wirth Brothers Excavating LLC were in the process of demolishing a building on Railroad Avenue.
Craig Wirth, 65, was killed after a section of a wall unexpectedly collapsed, and debris hit him.
OSHA is investigating the accident, along with the Chetek Police Department and Barron County Medical Examiner's Office.
