ARCADIA, Wis. (WEAU) -- Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare's new clinic in Arcadia opened Monday.

It will provide family medicine, lab, radiology, and behavioral health services.

It will also bring in cardiologists once a month.

The clinic replaces the existing one in the former St. Joseph's Chapel.

"We had an old, cramped facility adjacent to an old hospital that everybody was tripping over each other," said Eric Erickson, Vice President of Primary Care at Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare. "So this is open, it’s spacious, it allows not only our key care providers to come together on behalf of the patient, it allows the patient’s family members to get involved. "It’s really a new way of providing care."

Ashley Furniture purchased the old clinic to turn it into a technology center.
