NEW INFORMATION: Man charged in Rusk Co. court after bomb threats

RUSK COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man arrested in connection with multiple bomb threats is now charged in Rusk County.

According to the criminal complaint, Dustin Hewitt, 22, is charged with 4 counts of bomb scare, repeater. It says, in August, the Ladysmith Police Department received an email containing a bomb threat to the court house. Investigators say, the email stated the bomb will go off if $900 trillion is not paid.

Investigators say more threats were also delivered in September with the same email address.

Hewitt was also charged in Eau Claire County Court back in September for the bomb threats. He was arrested after the sheriff's department used forensic evidence to find him.
