New Chamber president reflects on first two weeks on the job

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- The new Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce president and CEO says he is eager to connect with community members as part of his new role.

David Minor started his position on July 1st. The Superior native is responsible for the coordination of all organizational activities, including public affairs, strategic planning, economic development programs, membership, and financial management.

Minor says he's excited to be getting out in the community and meeting everyone.His goal to be settled in with a daily routine by the middle of September.

"As the Chamber you're that central figure piece that's pinned to everyone else. It's important for me to learn who the different players are, what is their role is," Minor said.

Minor has more than 20 years of chamber management experience.
