New voting equipment comes to Eau Claire Co.

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- New voting equipment is coming to Eau Claire County.

With the new equipment, voters will still mark a physical ballot; however, they will fill in an oval to mark their ballot selection instead of connecting an arrow, as they did in the past.

The Clerk of Courts Office made the announcement in a press release Monday. The new system will be used in all communities in the county, starting with the Feb. 20 Spring Primary Election.
