EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A St. Patrick’s Day may be Sunday but community members are already celebrating.
The first O'Claire Irish Festival took place Saturday at North High School in Eau Claire. The family friendly event was free and included activities for, raffles, music, dancing and more. The event was hosted by Janelle's School of Irish Dance and Reilly Chiropractic.
“This is the first year we've held it before our annual dance. We've always had a spring annual recital but this year we opened it up to make it a little bit more community oriented," said Julie Munson, Fundraising Coordinator.
Organizers say the event was a chance for community members to celebrate all things Irish.
