EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Eau Claire Police Department says there's no threat from a suspicious object found at a local intersection.

Police say an object was found around 6:30 Wednesday night near the intersection of Hastings Way and Highland Avenue.

As a precaution, officers closed roads in the area for a short time.

According to the Eau Claire Police Department, the object turned out to be a pressure cooker.

Officers say there are video cameras in that area, and police officers saw the pressure cooker fall off the back of the truck and saw a bystander move it.

After seeing the video, the object was deemed safe and it was removed from the scene by an officer.
