They’re called Pop-Up Pantries and they're a way for local families to get some nutritious food.

Feed My People Food Bank is hosting the mobile pantries in August at various locations.

“We're kicking it off on Friday with a Pop-Up Pantry at the Community Table and next week we start in Chippewa Falls and do one on the north side of town and Longfellow and the senior center, so we're going to hit a lot of different neighborhoods. It's going to be great," said Suzanne Becker, with Feed My People.

Those in need of extra food can stop by the Community Table from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Friday, July 27. The community table is serving its free meal at that time as well.
