EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A newly announced opponent to U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy's seat stopped in Eau Claire Tuesday.

Margaret Engebretson for Congress
Polk County Attorney Margaret Engebretson officially announced her campaign on Monday. She’s a 24-year military veteran. She’s running for the Wisconsin 7th Congressional District seat against Duffy.
During her stop in Eau Claire, Engebretson talked about the need to address health care and the shifting energy of voters.
"What I think that a lot of people desire is that we need to progress and grow and thrive, and their policies don't match up with the kind of leaders that they've been electing, so I looked deeper into some of the issues ailing our district, our state and our nation and some of those are wealth and income and equality,” said Engebretson.
