CADOTT, Wis. (WEAU) -- One of the bands that had been scheduled to play Rock Fest has canceled its appearance.

On Tuesday afternoon, Rock Fest announced on its Facebook page that Adam Gontier will be playing at the festival. Promoted as the voice of 3 Days Grace and Saint Astonia, Gontier is set to perform at 4:45 p.m. Saturday. In a Facebook post, Sevendust said that it would not be able to play Saturday "...due to circumstances outside of our & the festivals (sic) control." A Rock Fest spokesperson said she did not have any additional information on the reason for the band's cancellation.

In the festival's post, it thanked Gontier for "stepping up last minute." Rock Fest begins on Thursday and runs through Saturday.
