Shelter available for those displaced by flood waters

TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Volunteers with the American Red Cross opened a shelter Wednesday night for people displaced by flooding in Trempealeau County.

According to Justin Kern with the Red Cross, there will be food and cots to sleep on at Holy Family Church at 223 Maple Street in Arcadia.

Kern says 16 people are expected from an apartment building impacted by rising waters.

Anyone displaced by flooding is welcome at the shelter.
