Staff at Eleva Elementary School moved their things out of the classrooms and into the Central Middle and High School building Friday.

On Thursday, the district announced that the Eleva Elementary building was unfit for kids, because the library has extensive damage and needs significant repairs.

The superintendent told WEAU that 130 students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will be moved to six classrooms in a separate wing of Central until the school determines the next step.

The district will host an open house for students and parents who have questions about the move at Central on Monday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. School is canceled on Monday.
