Teenager hurt in crash due to snowy-road conditions

LITTLE FALLS, Wis. (WEAU)- A teenager receives non-life threatening injuries after a crash due to snowy weather conditions.

It happened on Highway 71 in Little Falls, just south of Black River Falls, Wednesday morning.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said 17-year-old Riley Law of Melrose was driving east when she started sliding on the snow-covered roads. Law ended up hitting a culvert in the ditch and flipping her vehicle.

Deputies SAID she was able to get out of the vehicle on her own, but was taken to an area hospital for non-life threatening conditions.

The crash remains under investigation.
