Two found dead in Minnesota motel
The two adults found dead Wednesday at the Northernaire Motel in Maplewood, Minnesota have been identified as Zoua Vang, 27 of Osseo, and Tou Chang Xiong, age 24 of La Crosse.
Earlier Thursday, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office performed autopsies on both the victims. The Medical Examiner’s determination of the manner and cause of death is pending completion of toxicology testing.
Vang and Xiong were found in a room at the motel shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Maplewood Police investigators and special agents for the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension initiated an investigation and found no immediate sign of trauma to either victim.
Investigators will continue to develop victim background profiles and a timeline leading up to the discovery of their bodies.
There is not believed to be any danger to the public.
