UPDATE: Former area school board president enters plea in prostitution case

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The former Menomonie School Board President charged with prostitution has pleaded guilty as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

Jay Fahl was in Eau Claire County Court Tuesday.

According to the deferred agreement, Fahl must abide by terms, which include not committing any crimes, and no use of the website backpage.com.

Fahl, and another man, were arrested in January after police say they responded to an ad placed by police online, posing as a prostitute.
