CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Thursday morning a motion hearing was held in Chippewa County to discuss the most recent lawsuit against Gordy's Market.
Nash Finch Company filed the lawsuit on December 28, stating Gordy's violated a 'customer supply agreement.’
At the hearing, Milwaukee attorney Michael Polsky was appointed as receiver.
He is the same attorney who assisted with the last lawsuit. He’s tasked with improving the financial outlook for the chain.
As of December 17, Gordy's owes more than $46 million to Nash Finch.
