UPDATE: Weather related crashes and slide-ins

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- As a winter storm has been the cause for slick roads, local law enforcement responded to a dozens of crashes and slide-ins over the weekend.

According to the Eau Claire Police Department, as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening, the department reports 27 crashes with three injuries, and 21 vehicle assists over the past three days.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post, since 7 p.m. Friday, the agency reports 39 crashes with one minor 1 injury and 102 runoffs.

The State Patrol Tomah post reports 30 total crashes and run-offs combined, but no injuries.
