UW-Eau Claire hosts Prince tribute concert

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- Part of UW-Eau Claire’s campus is filled with the sounds of a pop icon.

Two guitars from Prince's personal collection are displayed at Blugold Radio on the UW-Eau Claire campus on Thursday.

Popular songs like Purple Rain and Little Corvette filled Schofield Hall's auditorium on UW-Eau Claire's campus Friday night.

The tribute concert is part of a two-day event hosted by Blugold radio.

Friday’s tribute concert featured local artist Sloslylove and several Eau Claire guest musicians.

As part of the two day event, two guitars from Prince's personal collection were on display on campus Thursday through Friday afternoon.
