EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- UW-Eau Claire students met with potential employers today during an annual spring career conference.
Employers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, and across the nation were available to talk to students about full-time positions and internship opportunities.
More than 100 employers were on campus to connect with Blugolds, whether first-year students or students looking to enter the workforce. Students from all majors were encouraged to attend.
“There are opportunities, especially with our wonderful liberal arts students that we have here at UW-Eau Claire can offer a lot of variety of skills to employers and they're looking for that. They're looking for students in all different majors and also lots of different skills that would be a good fit for their organization,” said Melody Manteufel, Outreach Counselor, Career Services Office.
Career services also say they offer opportunities for students to create or update their resumes to be ready to apply for jobs or internships.
