Undercover drug investigation in Trempealeau Co.

TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Four people are taken into custody after a woman tries to sell drugs to an undercover investigator in Trempealeau County.

It happened Monday, September 10 in Arcadia.

Deputies say 38-year-old Nicole McConnell of Taylor arranged to sell meth to an undercover investigator.

Law enforcement made contact with the vehicle McConnell was driving, which also had three passengers.

The passengers are identified as 47-year-old Denise Oliver, 50-year-old Sandra Levit, and 41-year-old Cynthia Guynes - all of Bangor.

A K9 alerted to narcotics, and about 50 grams of suspected meth was found.

The incident led to a search warrant at the Onalaska Inn where more suspected meth was found.
