Unemployment rates down in Wisconsin
Wisconsin's unemployment rate is continuing to decrease.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the Badger State's unemployment rate in May of 2016 dropped to 4.2 percent, which is the lowest rate since March of 2001.
In May, unemployment rates decreased in all 12 metro areas and decreased or remained the same in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties compared to rates in April.
The national unemployment rate is 4.7 percent.
